FBR Notice Reply, Audit & Appeals Support in Karachi
Received a notice, audit letter or order from FBR? We read it carefully, check the legal basis and deadlines, prepare your reply and represent you at every stage.
Overview
A notice from FBR can be a request for information, a chance to explain a transaction, or the start of a formal process such as an audit or an assessment. Knowing which it is matters, because the right response differs. Most notices carry a reply date, and ignoring one can lead to orders against you, additional tax or recovery action.
We read the notice, identify the provision of law and the years it covers, and confirm the reply date. We then collect the supporting records, prepare a written reply that answers what has been asked, and agree it with you before it is filed. Where proceedings continue, we represent you at hearings and advise on appeal.
We do not promise outcomes in tax proceedings, because no one can. What we do is prepare your case carefully and present it professionally.

Why professional help makes a difference
The deadline is met
We confirm the reply date from the notice itself and plan the work around it, including a timely request for more time where that is appropriate.
The reply answers the question asked
A good reply is accurate, complete and focused. It gives the department what it has asked for, supported by documents, and nothing that creates new questions.
Someone handles the proceedings
Audit and assessment can run for months. We keep track of dates, hearings and correspondence so that nothing is missed.
Your appeal rights are protected
If an order goes against you, appeals have time limits. We advise you promptly on whether and where to appeal.

Frequently asked questions
What should I do first if I receive an FBR notice?
Read it carefully, note the date you received it and the reply date, and do not ignore it. Gather the records the notice refers to and contact an adviser early. Send us a clear photo or PDF of the notice and we will tell you what it means and what is needed.
Can I ask FBR for more time to reply?
In many cases an adjournment or extension can be requested in writing before the date passes. The request must be made properly and in time, so please contact us as soon as you receive the notice.
What is a tax audit?
An audit is a detailed examination of your return and records by the tax authorities. It can end with no change, or with an amended assessment if the department disagrees with your return. Good records and a prepared response make a real difference.
What is unexplained income under Section 111?
Section 111 deals with income, investments or assets for which the source is not explained, or is not satisfactorily explained. The usual way to answer is with records that show where the money came from, such as bank transfers, sale documents, loan or gift papers.
Why has my bank account been attached?
Bank accounts can be attached to recover tax that the department says is due. We review the demand, check whether it is correct and has been properly issued, and advise on how to resolve it. Our guide on bank account attachment explains the process.
Can I appeal against an order?
Orders can generally be appealed, and appeals have time limits, so please contact us as soon as you receive an order. We advise on the forum, the grounds and the documents needed.
Do you guarantee a result?
No. No adviser can guarantee the outcome of tax proceedings. We prepare your case carefully, meet every deadline and represent you professionally.
What documents will you need from me?
The notice and its attachments, your returns and wealth statements for the years concerned, bank statements, and documents that support the transactions in question. We tell you exactly what is needed after reading the notice.
